As we enter this Christmas season, join us as we humbly pause to honor God for the unspeakable gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, Son of David, Messiah, King.
During this month of December, many of the posts on GodsWordToUs.org will be filled with music — a great and joyful way of preparing to honor the birth of Christ Jesus, Our King!
It’s hard to comprehend the depth of His love, of the One Who came to die for us that we might live. Equally astonishing is the simplicity of receiving this gift of His sacrifice — salvation from our sins — by those who acknowledge their need of it:
Simply admit your need of Him, and then, accept His saving grace.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
But “…God…
“…so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world through Him might be saved.” (John 3:16-17)
Sometimes words can escape us in describing our gratitude for such a salvation; but music can help bridge that gap of expression, as our spirits rise up and soar to praise and exult His holy name.
So, enjoy with us this mysterious gift (and blessing) of music as we praise Him together, allowing it to draw us ever closer to His throne of grace. And, be blessed as you listen to the songs that honor and praise Him during this joyous season.
God bless you….and Merry Christmas!
