Sudheendra, a priest, is performing penance for many years, with the help of a sage. One day, a seller buys drugs from Araka and the drugs earn him a profit. He asks Araka for a truckload of drugs to sell, but Araka's assistant tells him that it is not easy to produce them due to the shortage of labour. The seller advises them that there are many people in the nearby villages, who can be kidnapped for labor. While celebrating a festival, the villagers are suddenly attacked and captured by Araka's men. Anji tries to stop him as his sister Alamelamma and girlfriend Chinminiki are also captured, but is beaten and thrown out of the village by Araka. Araka's assistant stops him, where Araka gets enraged and decapitates his assistant. Araka takes all the captured villagers. Kiran R. Hemmige of The News Minute gave 2 out of 5 stars and wrote "While Shiva Rajkumar has given it his all as usual, the film lacks logic and is let down by its one-dimensional characters." The trailer is out for the period fantasy tale and the looks of the four main characters have left viewers impressed Ever since the team of Bhajarangi 2 released the promotional material for the film, the period fantasy tale showed characters sporting intriguing looks. The trailer of the film, which marks the third collaboration of A Harsha and Shivarajkumar after Bhajarangi and Vajrakaya, shows the audience a world that is dark, different and dangerous. The head gear makes me look nearly 8 feet tall and for me, it was quite the challenge to sport this look as my costume was nearly 7 to 8 kgs in weight.
